Barely a few hours after Softpower, CommandPost jumps in with their version of the same trashy narrative cooked up after a weekend of contemplation and reflection. The Ugandan regime needed time to catch its breath shell shocked by the straight talking Rwanda delegation in the Luanda MoU Ad Hoc implementation commission in Kampala.

The Museveni regime first public blander occurred during the press conference that followed the meeting. The Ugandan Minister of Foreign Affairs in his seventies could not come up with an answer to a simple question from the press. Why is it so hard for Uganda to either charge or release innocents Rwandans? Sam Kutesa, the Ugandan Minister, fumbled publicly but truth be told, there was no reasonable answer.
Usually, Kutesa is masterful in wiggling himself out of tricky situations. In one case, Museveni and Kutesa each took a $500,000 USD bribe from one Patrick Ho. Ho was convicted in New York for bribing Exhibit #1510 (Yoweri Museveni) and #1514 (Sam Kutesa). They both came up with a lame excuse that they thought it was charity money. Since then, Kutesa doesn’t travel to the US.

In September, during the first meeting of the Ad Hoc Commission, Rwanda provided Uganda with a list of innocents Rwandans illegally detained in Uganda. It was agreed that due process would be used to either charge or release Innocents Rwandans. The absurd kidnapping by the Ugandan Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence, the incommunicado detention, were to stop but instead it increased. Since September more than 90 new cases of arbitrary arrest were reported.
The Ugandan regime had done nothing since the September meeting others than delay the follow up meeting by not sending out invitations. And when their delegation hopes for a walk in the park with lengthy diplomatic lingo (in a communique) to say that nothing was done was refused by the straight talking Rwandan delegation; they were left breathless.

After an entire weekend of recuperation, Museveni finally deploys his online mouthpieces like CommandPost and Softpower. These trolls openly comment on discussions held behind closed doors, and as usual lace all their stories with fabrication and slander.
They have also opted to attack Rwandan delegates that refused the hypocrisy of window dressing diplomacy as hundreds of their compatriots suffer in torture dungeons.
They say lies use elevators, and the the truth takes stairs, eventually the truth prevails. Uganda is not interested in peace, it is persecuting innocents Rwandans and supporting anti-Rwanda terrorist militias; the second meeting on the MoU proved it to the world but still the regime mouthpieces will argue that Rwanda failed to prove a point.
