RNC mouthpiece Himbara seeks to deflect attention from his sponsors the usual way: with anti-Rwanda slanders

RNC mouthpiece David Himbara, a tireless negativist, has posted another distorted attack on Rwanda, pretending that there is something wrong with the country’s track record in managing loans and grants with transparency. Himbara is known to be in the pay of Ugandan ruler Museveni, and RNC terror financier Tribert Rujugiro, conducts a hate and smear campaign against Rwanda.

With the attacks on Rwanda’s handling of the pandemic, Himbara in fact is trying to deflect from the shambolic embarrassment that’s happening in Uganda. People are dying like flies, from the pandemic, and everyone knows the reason for it: the Museveni regime’s corruption, incompetence, and utter disregard for the lives of Ugandans. Museveni’s family and cronies have stolen all the money donors gave to buy hospital beds, equip ICUs, buy vaccines and so on. But Himbara is creating a none-existent crisis in Rwanda.

To obfuscate further, he concocts an issue with Congo. But Himbara’s cheap propaganda cannot change the fact that it is Yoweri Museveni and his regime that were covincted by the International Court of Justice of looting DRC. The court ordered Uganda to pay US$ 10 Billion in damages. The UN Groups of Experts today cites Uganda as a key destination for traffickers and militias.

Coming back on the Covid-19 issue, it is not coincidence that Himbara’s distortions and attacks happen whenever crises caused by corruption and incompetence crop up. The Museveni regime is facing its most volatile crisis as Covid deaths escalate. Ugandans, forced into a shoddily, and cruelly implemented lockdown are about to revolt – like Swazis!

Himbara’s desperation in hyping a none-existent crisis in Rwanda is the desperation of his paymaster.
