HRW joins anti-Rwanda elements to try to sabotage CHOGM with usual fabricated “reports”

Human Rights Watch (HRW) and its lifetime Executive Director, Kenneth Roth, have once again revealed that they can never be at ease unless they have some nasty thing to concoct about Rwanda in their incessant conspiracy to demonize Rwanda and taint the her image at the international scene.

This time around the unscrupulous rights watchdog has ganged up with prominent members of anti-Rwanda attacking dogs who have been working tirelessly to smear Rwanda and her leadership ahead of the forthcoming Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in futile attempts to have the meeting “called off”, in vain.

Those anti-Rwanda circles are comprised of majorly overseas-based anti-Rwanda elements, famously known as “Ibigarasha” – the crooks that failed accountability demands and escaped justice as well as a cabal of convicted genocide deniers and their apologists that are commanded by the unrepentant convict Ingabire Victoire Umuhoza.

Ibigarasha and their genocide denier counterparts have recently created a hoax about “torture in Rwandan prisons” and subsequently petitioned the International community especially the Commonwealth Secretariat to take action against Rwanda. Their concoctions were rebutted by inamates themselves. For instance, prisoners such as Abdul Rashid Hakuzimana (whom they branded political prisoner) refuted the torture claims as an outright lie that should be treated with the contempt it deserves.

To everyone’s surprise, Roth’s HRW regurgitated the unfounded allegation and blatantly urged the Commonwealth leaders to pressure Rwanda into “releasing prisoners” who are allegedly tortured, something laughable because Rwanda’s judiciary is independent and can’t be influenced by biased reports from a sponsored, rotten and corrupt rights watchdog.

HRW’s position has yet again demonstrated that when it comes to Rwanda, it always sides with criminals just as American diplomat Richard Johnson once helped to reveal in The Travesty of Human Right Watch on Rwanda. The diplomat referred to HRW’s work in and about Rwanda as “profoundly unscrupulous in both its means and its ends.”

HRW, Roth and their allies in Ibigarasha and Interahamwe should know that no one gives a damn about their pathetic stories about Rwanda and her leadership, and indeed CHOGM won’t be stopped by their incessant noises.
