President Macron’s visit to DRC left Tshisekedi and his regime tattered

Congolese ruler Felix Tshisekedi and his cronies expected President Emmanuel Macron to egg on their mission to sabotage the regional peace frameworks.

Kinshasa regime thought Macron would fall into the trap of portraying Rwanda as the “aggressor of Congo”, yet the country has been aggressing itself. The whole thing went south. The French President expressed support for the existing regional peace processes. He left them with a firm message to not “externalize their problems.”

The much-touted visit by Macron left a heavy blow to Tshisekedi and his regime that have been portraying Rwanda as the root cause of the instability in their country. The fellows went through blood, sweat, and tears.

Tshisekedi has been touring from one country to another, whining like a crybaby, “Rwanda is the cause of DRC’s problems!”; he did so to escape responsibility, as the Head of State, to establish effective leadership deal with sticky issues facing Congolese.

As it turns out, Tshisekedi regime played the wrong card. President Macron proved that no amount of blame-games would help Congolese. The people have been caught up in the incompetence of leaders that have ignored the crisis in Eastern DRC for nearly 30 years.

For the record, Tshisekedi really wasted much time instead of finding solutions for the people who gave him the mandate as a President. The region should not continue to suffer because of his incompetence.

Macron’s visit should leave him with a valuable lesson which is, “the solution to DRC crisis resides in facing the real issue, not globetrotting the entire world blaming neighbors to bend the truth.”
